Monty Sketchy Sketch

Monty from "Rise of the Guardians", because I don't give him enough love. Since I've been advocating all of my other ROTG ships (Jamiecake, Blackcake, Cakefrost, Pinennett), I don't get to ship Jamie and Monty as much as I want to. I can't seem to come up with a good ship name for them, anyway.

Inked with a gel pen I found in the copy room at my work. The paper its drawn is recycled from misfeed paper from the copy machine. The sketch is based on this image. I was freaking out when I came across this screencap, because I forgot that it came from the teaser trailer. My internal monologue went something like this: 

"WHERE IS THIS FROM? I WOULD REMEMBER THIS IF IT WERE IN THE MOVIE! LOOK AT ADORABLE PIPPA AND CALEB ON THEIR SKATEBOARDS! WHY ISN'T CUPCAKE WITH THEM? SHE WOULD'VE BEEN WITH THEM ALREADY IN THIS SCENE!"

Once I remembered, I watched that clip over and over again. I can't get over how cute the Burgess children are. I think I'll start drawing Monty more often, something a little better than this.
