Baymax and Mom

This artwork is in response to yoursweetmaid's open letter, which explains that her mother is coping through her depression with Big Hero 6 and the blend of the two cities used to create the fictional San Fransokyo depicted in the film. I came across the post and another of her mother, so while I'm not able to send them any BH6 merchandise physically, I knew what would be the perfect gift to give to them.

I can empathize with them. There's a large Japanese community in the area I grew up in, and San Francisco is not too far away for me. In addition, my family recently moved away from me. Big Hero 6 came out during our moving weekend, so it was the last film we saw together. I'm still dealing through this change.
